The Toyota also joined the range of plastic construction kits from boy’s favourites Airfix. Their 007 collection included the Aston Martin and a Bond Vs Oddjob diorama ( featuring the characters’ Fort Knox duel from ‘Goldfinger’). Also released from ‘You Only Live Twice’ was a model of the ‘Little Nellie’ autogyro. Later, in 1979 Airfix released the ‘‘Moonraker” in kit form. If these original 1960s kits can be found today, it is usually as partially built models, which still sell for a premium. |
